The dream came reality
After seven plus years enjoying Playa Encuentro we still feel the same energy and good “vibra” felt on the first day.
We decided we had to show the world the magic of living in this paradise; providing the best guest experience, making them feel right at home.
This is why we started to search for a land to buy, one that could satisfy the needs of the project. After several attempts and negotiations, we were lucky to find the perfect place to materialize our dream.
After setting up all needed for a construction, and after a long wait, the hotel´s construction began on May 2021
Our name arose from the popular expression in Dominican,” te curaste?”, which is all about enjoying yourself. It’s common to say “te curaste?” or “que curada ” to someone who’s just finished their surfing session, knowing they had a great time. When they’re heading off on another surfing adventure, you tell them “Buena curada!”, to go enjoy!
The diminutive -iña gives one a sense of closeness while the letter “ñ” reminds us of our Spanish heritage.
The Hotel’s Logo is made of sand-colored minimalist lines representing our friendly atmosphere. The company’s unique logo combines waves, sea and sun as inspired by Mother Nature.
We’ve fashioned our hotel as an elegant concept including an access building with cane roof, a dining area and common areas. The second building houses our four residences and four deluxe suites.
