Is the hotel beachfront?
The hotel is located 200 meters away from the beach.
What airports are nearby?
La Curadiña is jut 10 miles away from Gregorio Luperón International Airport/Puerto Plata Airport (POP), roughly a 25-30 minute drive to the hotel.
Registered taxis are available at the airport, for approximately US$35. We can also arrange a private airport transfer. Please contact us in advance for further details, especially if traveling from other airports than POP.
Is breakfast available?
We are currently working on the restaurant to serve breakfast, snack and drinks.
How can I get around in Encuentro/Cabarete?
If you want to explore the surrounding areas, we suggest renting a car or use private registered taxis. There is a variety of car rental options with insurance, depending on your needs.
Where can I eat nearby?
There is a wide variety of food shops nearby, all within a walking distance from La Curadiña. You can also have food delivered from other local places to your room. After your arrival, we will provide a brochure that includes all the information you will need to get around Cabarete.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Regular check-in is at 2pm. Regular check-out is at 12:00pm. Requests for early check-in and late check-out are honored but subject to availability.
I will be arriving late in the evening at the hotel. Can I still check-in?
Yes you can, we have self-check-in instructions. However, in the event that you are arriving after 6:00 PM, we kindly ask you to please let us know.
Is there an additional charge for kids?
Kids 7 years old and below are allowed to stay free-of-charge. The number of kids may vary depending on the room type. Extra beds are available upon request.
Do you have onsite laundry service?
We also offer laundry services at an additional cost of 10 USD per machine load.
Can I bring my pet inside the hotel?
We are animal lovers, but to maintain guests’ safety, pets are not allowed in our hotel.
What payment methods are accepted?
Currently we accept cash, bank transfers and PayPal as payment methods. Credit and debit cards will be accepted soon.
